In the title copper(II) complex, dichloro[(RS)-1-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,4-dimethyl-3-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl-κN4)pentan-3-ol]copper(II) ethanol tetrasolvate, [CuCl2(C16H22ClN3O)4]·4C2H5OH, formed with the triazole fungicide tebuconazole, the Cu atom lies on an inversion center and has an elongated octahedral coordination. The molecules are linked to form a network via O—H⋯Cl and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
