It is noted that not only time but also the imaginary unit is absent from the Wheeler-DeWitt equation (WDE), the basic equation of canonical quantum gravity. This leads to a severe problem in an attempt to recover the time-dependent Schrodinger equation from the WDE. It is suggested that the problem will be solved if the WDE is actually complex and not real, as in most models hitherto considered
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 38 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
