A simple, almost analytic method, to be called harmonic approximation, is proposed to calculate the action of the bounce solution in the electroweak theory. A modified thin-wall approximation is also described. The result of the harmonic approximation is in good agreement, in the region of interest, with that obtained by numerical integration of the bounce equation.
