Data from complementary experiments on the members of the (${3}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$\ensuremath{\nu}${f}_{7/2}$) multiplets in $_{_{60}^{143}}\mathrm{Nd}_{83}$, $_{_{62}^{145}}\mathrm{Sm}_{83}$, and $_{_{64}^{147}}\mathrm{Gd}_{83}$ are summarized and the particle-vibration coupling is investigated. It is shown that for odd N=83 nuclei the quadrupole-quadrupole interaction gives the leading contribution in the energy displacements of the multiplet members and that it can essentially explain the spin order and the absolute values for the splitting of the observed particle-octupole multiplets.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 9 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
