Martensitic transformation of Ca

Abstract

A la temperature ambiante, Ca subit une transformation structurale induite par la pression de 20 GaPa, passant de la structure cubique a faces centrees a cubique centre. On examine un modele de distorsion pour cette transformation. Le mecanisme de Bain est un cas particulier de la distorsion triclinique plus generale, et des lors qu'un chemin dans cet espace de parametres plus grands fournit une trajectoire de l'energie differente. L'etude, dans l'approximation de la densite locale de l'energie totale est effectuee en utilisant la methode de l'onde plane amelioree lineaire
