Abstract

SUMMARY: Some properties of the phage ψ of Escherichia coli 15, as revealed by electronmicroscopy of an u.v.-induced lysate, are described. The differences between this defective phage and a bacteriocine and the type of interaction between this phage and E. coli 15 are discussed.
