Data about the demand for primary health care, collected in a group practice of more than 10,000 individuals, were analyzed by Probit and Tobit techniques. With respect to the number of GP-contacts the results indicate, besides the well-known impact of age, sex, social class and morbidity, serious Interdoctor Variation, important influence of Problem Behavior and significant differences due to the Insurance System.
