</script>SEVERAL fluorinated inhalation anesthetics have been associated with hepatotoxicity. Yet to date, desflurane has not been reported to cause liver damage in humans. The following is a report of a patient who experienced hepatitis after receiving a desflurane anesthetic and who may have been sensitized by prior halothane exposure.
