
Der von \textit{P. Benacerraf} [``Mathematical truth'', J. Philos. 70, 661-679 (1973)] erhobene Vorwurf gegen die sogenannte platonistische Auffassung der Mathematik, insbesondere die damit verbundene Willkür in der Identifikation mathematischer Objekte, wird in diesem Artikel (festgemacht am ``Problem'', daß man nicht entscheiden kann, ob es sich bei \(\{\{\emptyset \}\}\) oder aber bei \(\{\emptyset, \{\emptyset\}\}\) um die Zahl 2 handelt) in der Weise zu entkräften versucht, daß die These einer von vornherein gegebenen Indefinitheit mathematischer Objekte vorgestellt und verteidigt wird.
