Abstract

Une serie de calculs numeriques est effectuee afin d'etudier la possibilite d'un effet de la metallicite sur l'exposition de neutrons pouvant expliquer la constance observee du rapport r/s (processus r/processus s) dans les etoiles avec [Fe/H]>−2.0. On trouve qu'un mecanisme base uniquement sur la dependance en metallicite de l'exposition de neutrons ne produit pas la production requise du processus s. On propose qu'un effet addditionnel, a savoir la production accrue de 14 N, devrait etre inclue dans le calcul du processus s. En utilisant un modele cosmochronologique qui renferme une production du processus s. primaire, precedee de pics de production en processus r et s, une limite superieure de 12 Gan est etablie pour l'âge de la Galaxie
