Excellent control of the blueberry flea beetle, Altica sylvia Malloch, a casebeetle, Neochlamisus cribripennis (LeConte), a spanworm, Itame argillaceria Packard, and 2 sawflies, Neopareophora litura Klug and Pristiphora sp., was obtained on Vaccinium angustifolium Ait. with a single application of trichlorlon at 1 kg AI/ha. There was no apparent affect on honeybees or native bees which were actively foraging in the blueberry fields at the time of spraying.
