The study comprises toothsize measurements from the deciduous and permanent dentitions of 530 boys and 580 girls from Sweden. Sexual dimorphism, toothsize variability, toothsize correlations and comparisons with other studies of Caucasian populations are presented. Genetic-environmental aspects of toothsize regulation and some clinical considerations are discussed.
