Abstract National Westminster Bank PLC is the largest retail bank in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 106,000 staff world-wide, 59,000 of whom are employed in the Domestic Banking Division, mainly in the High Street branches. To service the large customer base there are over 3,200 branches and the Group, including subsidiary companies, is the only UK bank to have reported annual profits in excess of £1 billion.
