We present the case of a 23-year-old equestrian who presented with violaceous plaques on the lateral thighs. Blood tests including a full autoimmune screen, coagulation screen, cold agglutinins and cryoglobulins revealed no abnormalities. Histological findings were consistent with a low-grade lymphocytic vasculitis.
