In the publication of the mastaba of Khentika, B 8,1 where the inscription is badly weathered and no longer legible, James quotes a hand-copy by the late Professor Gunn which reads as follows: ir n.f phw hr.A r dwt (Inscription 1).2 James observes that "there is a trace of a after dwt, though it is not centered."
