We examine the kinematics of the known variable DA white dwarfs relative to a sample of observed nonvariable DA white dwarfs in the same color range. The variable DA stars do not form a kinematically distinct group relative to the nonvariable stars. Possible implications based upon the kinematics are briefly discussed.
