Elderly persons often have accidents simply because they cannot break the habit of hurrying.A study showed that a fail, loss of balance, or a misstep accounted for 61 per cent of the spinal fractures in a series of 163 elderly patients. The author gives helpful suggestions and lists effective means for preventing such accidents to the aged.
