
Abstract A new distribution map is provided for Aphis gossypii Glover ( Doralis frangulae [Aphis frangulae] Kalt., Cerosipha gossypii [Aphis gossypii] (Glov.)) (Hemipt. Aphididae) (Cotton Aphis, Melon Aphis). Host Plants: polyphagous, especially cotton and Cucurbits. Vector of crinkle, mosaic, rosette and other virus diseases. Information is given on the geographical distribution in EUROPE (excl. USSR), Austria, Azores, Belgium, Britain, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sardinia, Sicily, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, ASIA (excl.
