
AbstractThis chapter explores the concept of knowledge management and explains its significance and types within the context of tourism, hospitality and events (THE) facilities. It looks at the internal and external sources of knowledge within organizations. It also examines the processes of knowledge creation/acquisition; knowledge storage, identification, sharing and retrieval processes; and knowledge sharing, transfer and utilization.
