The next satellite development plan in the satellite technology center, LAPAN is a constellation satellite where one of the payloads to be carried is Automatic Dependant A Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B). This payload is an observation technology applied to air transportation for air traffic control based on GPS technology from satellites. any aircraft equipped with a transponder will automatically transmit its flight data. The data is transmitted and will be received by several ground stations. In this paper, a simple ADS-B data receiver is implemented using the defined radio (SDR) software device as a receiver. As well as open-source applications as a data receiving interface. After testing in the area of the Rancabungur ground station, the farthest flight data that can be tracked is at an altitude of 33,300 m.
