This paper presents performance and figures‐of‐merit of fiber optic interferometric accelerometers and seismometers using flexural disk, mandrel, and fluid filled transducers. Flexural disk devices having sensitivities of 50 radians/g and operating bandwidths to 2 kHz have been reported. This sensitivity corresponds to a minimum detectable signal of 20 nano‐g/√Hz for a system demodulation noise floor of 1 micro‐radian/√Hz.
