Abstract

CP violation has been discovered in K-physics. In the experiments currently performed at the B-factories (KEKB and PEPII) the phenomenon has been observed also in B-physics. The existing results are in agreement with the hypothesis that the observed amount of the effect is consistent with the Standard Model. The measurement of the angles of the Unitary Triangle is well underway as well as an improved determination of its sides. This brings to a better knowledge of the CKM matrix elements and a search for a New Physics.
