The entropy of mixing of dilute solutions of high polymers has been calculated. The expression obtained employs a molecular dimension obtained from the intrinsic viscosity, contains no arbitrary constants, and appears to be valid from zero to about two percent polymer, the limit of the osmotic pressure data used.
