Abstract

Every physician struggles to come up with the "proper digitalizing dose" at some point in his career. At times, it is to survive an internship interview; on other occasions, someone else's future is at stake. In the article by Lindenbaum et al. in the current issue of the Journal, there is information to suggest that the brand of digoxin employed may at times have as much to do with such ultimate outcomes as our most sophisticated calculations concerning dose and frequency.
