Summary Anesthesia for endotracheal procedure demands teamwork between the surgery and anesthesia care teams. A multidisciplinary team approach will facilitate the various types of evaluations and interventions that patients with multiple comorbidities and airway obstruction may need. Given the wide range of endotracheal procedures performed and the variety of anesthesia and airway control techniques available, an elegant solution with the goal of patient safety in mind can be developed for nearly every situation of airway obstruction.
