Biceps tendon pathology is a significant source of pain in patients experiencing athletic and/or degenerative shoulder conditions. Numerous open and arthroscopic techniques have been described, and conflict still remains between tenotomy versus tenodesis. In our hands, biceps tenodesis using interference screw fixation is a relatively simple and biomechanically supported technique. In this work, we describe our technique of arthroscopic biceps tenodesis using a biotenodesis screw in an intraosseous, end-tunnel technique.
