h EOPERATIVE AND OTHER COMPLEX cardiac operations are typically accompanied by prophylactic antifirinolytic therapy to reduce excessive bleeding and transfusion equirements.1,2 However, recent studies have continued the oncern that antifibrinolytic drugs may contribute to thrombotic omplications.3,4 A case of acute coronary artery thrombosis mmediately after aprotinin administration in an elderly male ndergoing repeat coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surery is presented.
