Abstract

Le capteur CADIP est destinae` completer la mesure du potentiel de protection cathodique des ouvrages portuaires sous protection cathodique par celle de la densite de courant de protection. Le principe du capteur est base sur la mesure du gradient de potentiel genere par le courant de protection cathodique canalise par un tube isolant. Les essais en laboratoire et les modelisations dont les resultats sont presentes ont permis d’approfondir la comprehension du principe du capteur. Ils demontrent l’interet du choix de la section du tube en fonction de la densite de courant de protection qui permet de selectionner le facteur d’amplification tout en limitant les perturbations du potentiel de la structure delimitee par le capteur. Ils demontrent egalement la necessite de controler la qualite de l’interface capteur/surface de la structure afin de circonscire au mieux la zone delimitee par le capteur et eviter de sous-estimer la valeur du courant. Ces resultats permettent d’orienter les travaux de developpement industriel du capteur dans le domaine de la calibration de la chaine de mesure et de la maitrise de la qualite de l’interface capteur/surface.
