GRANDEURS OPTIQUES CARACTERISTIQUES EN ENERGIE SOLAIRE, UNIFORMISATION DE LA TERMINOLOGIE

Abstract

On montre la nécessité d'une uniformisation de la terminologie des concepts et des dénominations correspondantes aux grandeurs optiques réprésentées par α (absorptivité) et par ε (émissivité), qui interviennent dans la caractérisation des surfaces sélectives. Un résumé des concepts physiques d'émission et d'absorption de l'énergie rayonnante est présenté, ainsi que les définitions des facteurs α etγ. Les méthodes de mesure de ces facteurs sont présentées, en comparant et critiquant quelques procédés calorimétriques et optiques existants. Dans un tableau on présente quelques techniques de mesure et appareils utilisés, d'après 1958. Les déterminations de l'organisation Météorologique Mondiale (1971) et de la Comission Internationale de l'Eclairage (1970) sont comparées ; des démarches en vue de l'uniformisation, telles que "Table ronde sur la terminologie en rayonnement thermique'' de Mme. Huetz-Aubert (1977-78) et "Units and Symbols in Solar Energy", de l'Ad-hoc Committee on Education and Standardisation, ISES (1978) se sont rapportées. On présente dans un tableau une synthèse des diverses opinions sur la terminologie, d'après 1970. On constate les différences encore existantes et l'urgence d'en finir.
