DIFFUSION RAYLEIGH QUASI-ÉLASTIQUE DANS LES MÉLANGES BINAIRES, NON-IDÉALITÉ DES SOLUTIONS. MESURE DES LONGUEURS DE CORRÉLATION

Abstract

A partir du spectre complet de diffusion Rayleigh quasi élastique on déduit les valeurs de la dérivée du potentiel chimique par rapport à la concentration (δµ/δc)P, T ; on vérifie ainsi la théorie de Mountain-Deutch et de plus on peut mettre en évidence des interactions intermoléculaires que l'on compare avec celles déduites à partir d'autres techniques expérimentales. On applique cette méthode à la mesure de (δµ/δc)P, T d'un mélange binaire critique. Sur ce mélange la vérification de la formule de Kawasaki D = kT/6 πηζ et son exploitation dans un domaine étendu de température permet d'interpréter les résultats des mesures du coefficient de diffusion mutuelle et de déduire simplement la longueur de corrélation ζ(T).
