Abstract

Vanderbilt researchers have identified downregulation of NOTCH signaling as a mechanism tumors use to evade the immune system, suggesting that restoring activation of the pathway could improve cancer immunotherapy. Researchers have been split on whether it is better to up- or downregulate NOTCH.
