Abstract

Researchers at The Rogosin Institute have used cancer cell–containing agarose beads to inhibit tumor proliferation in animals. The beads already are in an investigator-sponsored Phase II trial in patients with pancreatic cancer, advanced colorectal cancer or refractory prostate cancer.
