Two cases of amyloidosis in traumatic paraplegic patients are presented and clinical symptoms as well as the post-mortem histological and histochemical findings in various organs are described. The causative relationship between the complications following paraplegia pressure sores and infection of the urinary tract and amyloidosis is discussed.
