</script>Toxoplasmosis infection occurs worldwide wherever cats are present. However, toxoplasmosis, the disease, is relatively rare. In this article, the author examines the cycle of transmission, addresses the problem of congenital transmission, discusses the symptomatology and pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment, and prevention and control of the disease.
