Abstract

LTHOUGH patients with varicose A veins are being treated efficientIy with compIete rehef of their symptoms, many of those with uIcers of the Iower extremities have not been so fortunate, having received onIy partia1 reIief. As indicated in pertinent Iiterature, the form of treatment varies in many cases and often in the same case, depending on the physician in charge. Despite any form of treatment, a successfu1 resuIt cannot be obtained unIess the underlying producing causes of the ulcer are effectiveIy dealt with.
