
Providing a comprehensive and authoritative introduction to the diverse and dynamic field of evolutionary genetics is a tall order and there are few, if any, individuals with the breadth of knowledge to do so effectively. Therefore, a multi-author book is an attractive proposition. The format has been tried with Evolutionary Ecology: Concepts and Case Studies [1] and now Fox and Wolf have provided a sister volume, Evolutionary Genetics: Concepts and Case Studies.
