Abstract

Abstract The boundaries of the liquid–liquid immiscibility region on the phase diagram of the Li–La system have been determined by the gamma-ray attenuation technique. At the monotectic temperature (1118 K), the miscibility gap ranges from 0.25 to 92.9 at.% La. As the temperature increases, the solubility of the liquid metals in each other rises slightly.
