AbstractWith the introduction of LCD technologies, there is almost no demand for new CRTs worldwide. Other alternative recycling outlets are needed, but still waiting to be explored. The author suggests in China recycling of scrap cathode ray (CRT) glass to leaded fluorescent lamp glass is the best industrially available way, but ultimately all the leaded glass may need extracting glass by metallurgy as the progress of the lead free process.
