The Study on Error Analysis of Discretization Area in Discrete Global Grid System

Abstract

AbstractThe research of area calculation error is the base of discretization of area in discrete global grid system. The error source of discretization of area was analysed and a calculation experiment was designed to calculation the errors of discretization of area. The true area and discretization area were calculated. A relationship between area of triangular parting and partition level was given. The method to express area in discrete global grid system by selecting the appropriate partition level was also given.
