AbstractThe sapphire fiber-optic temperature sensor based on Black-Body radiation law, is a new technique of high-temperature measurement in extreme environment, which combines techniques of radiometric thermometry and optical-based temperature measurement. In this paper, a system is established and tested. Results approved that the sapphire fiber-optic temperature sensor based on Black-Body radiation law has high sensitivity and is suitable for 800∼1600°C temperature measurement.
