AbstractThe theory analyses by using finite element method show that winding deformation would inevitably lead to the changes of three-phase transformer's magnetic field. Once short-circuit faults happened, the three-phase transformer winding distortions and distortion location can be quickly detected through analyzing the spectrum correlation coefficients of the magnetic field. Simulation and test results proved the effectiveness of this method.
