
AbstractTo perform effective management and long-term storage of the old-age insurance information in rural area, a customized database platform of pension system was developed with Visual Studio in C# language, and the corresponding data are stored in SQL Server. After detailed requirement analysis, three database design stages of conceptual structure, logical structure and physical structure were carried out. The results of software testing show that all the functional modules of register, insuring, payment, buying, opening accounts, withdrawing, termination and transferring are finished. The software can process insurance business in batch, reducing labor cost. The information level is improved with standardized rural insurance data management.
