AbstractIn the paper [F. Nasseri, Phys. Lett. B 632 (2006) 151–154], F. Nasseri supposed that the value of the angular momentum for the Bohr's atom in the presence of the cosmic string is quantized in units of ℏ. Using this assumption it was obtained an incorrect expression for Bohr radius in this scenario. In this Comment I want to point out that this assumption is not correct and present a corrected expression for the Bohr radius in this background.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 4 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
