AbstractInfiltrating lipoma (IL) is a rare benign tumour of mesenchymal origin which infiltrates adjacent muscle and tend to recur after excision. Few case of IL have been reported in the literature. Therefore, we will report a case of infiltrating lipoma of the tongue in a 54-year-old Italian male mainly to stress clinical and diagnostic features.
