Gota deformante

Abstract

Paciente de 51 años con gota desde los 24. Presentaba tofos extensos en manos, brazos, codos, hombros, rodillas y pies, además de deformidades articulares y erosiones óseas visibles en radiografías. Tenía una uricemia de 11,4 mg/dl y la actividad de HPRT era normal. Aunque previamente no toleraba el alopurinol por desencadenar crisis, inició una pauta ascendente lenta hasta 600 mg/día, asociada a colchicina y diclofenaco, sin volver a presentar ataques agudos.
