Abstract

.El concepto moderno de autonom´ia surge de los trabajos de I.Kant, concretamente del libro Cr´itica de la razon pr´ actica, dondesienta los fundamentos de la etica moderna.No es posible ejercer la autonom´ia si el paciente no tienecapacidad de decidir. En esos casos, la toma de decisiones quedaen manos del equipo medico y de los familiares del paciente. Esdificil tomar una decisi´ on m´ edica cuando se desconoce por partede la familia y del medico cual ser´ia la voluntad del paciente anteuna situacion determinada´
