A Review on studies of Finite Element Model Updating and Updating of Composite Materials

Abstract

Abstract This paper presents the review of finite element model updating and updating of composite materials related studies. The purpose of this review paper is to find the different techniques used in updating of the material's parameter, what are the limitations of these techniques and what are the assumptions to perform these experiments. In this paper studies on updating of composite materials is also discussed. Composite materials are being used almost in every field as it possesses some good and unique characteristics. This review also shows the studies on elimination of error from experimental model and finite element model and it also discuss the issues arises from parameterization and regularization.
