
Abstract By filling the pores of siliceous SBA-15 hard template with finger citron residues as carbon precursors, then carbonization and silica dissolution, a new type of highly ordered mesoporous carbon has been synthesized for the first time. The textural properties of such mesoporous carbon material were investigated by various techniques including XRD, SEM, TEM analyses as well as N2 adsorption at 77 K.
