Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate a novel bleaching technique for Angora rabbit fiber. For this purpose, a detailed investigation on the role of the fiber moisture, pH, and treatment time during ozonation was carried out. Also, the effect of ozonation on the dyeing properties of Angora rabbit fibers was researched. Consequently, it was found that ozonation improved the degree of whiteness and dyeability of Angora rabbit fiber.
