Monitoring and treatment in line with recommendations and guidelines may be supportive to survive the first 3 to 5 levels in most cases, but for higher levels of the reality game, creativity is needed and life becomes more risky. The aim of this reflection is to identify common pitfalls and to stimulate further research and collaboration in specific areas of the lupus jungle.
